Why your support matters
BIPOC-CA is a grassroots, volunteer-powered collective. We don't have a big endowment or a corporate owner. We have our community, and that's what keeps our work going.
Where your support goes
Paying artists. From our first Culture Day, every artist we've booked has been paid. That doesn't change.
Workshops. Barrier-free programming like A Series of Discoveries, our workshops on psychological and physical safety for BIPOC creatives.
Culture Day. Stages, sound, permits and everything it takes to put on a free day of BIPOC music, art and culture.
Keeping the lights on. Staff time and office costs that let a small team do big things.
Why community funding matters
Grants matter, and we're grateful for every funder who backs our work. But grants come with deadlines, rules and gaps. Support from our community lets us act fast, stay independent and say what needs to be said.
Three ways to help
1. Become a member from $5 a month.
2. Donate once or monthly, by PayPal, card or e-transfer.
3. Volunteer your time and skills.
Every bit of it goes back into BIPOC creatives. Thank you.
