Since 2020

Culture Day is where the BIPOC-CA story began. On July 1, 2020, more than 30 BIPOC artists, dancers, designers, musicians and activists took over Trout Lake Park, and every one of them was paid. In 2021 we returned to Strathcona Park to celebrate, demonstrate and advocate for Black and Indigenous culture.
